Your thoughts on a hot pink cellphone...help me please!!!

I'm planning to upgrade my Nokia 7610 cellphone to a Motorola V3X next week. This motorola model comes in 3 colors - black, blue, hot pink and rust orange. My supplier informed me that they have a hot pink unit in stock. I got excited about the hot pink color because I think it's unique. However, my husband has been trying to talk me out of choosing the hot pink color because 1) he got confused why all of a sudden I'd want a pink cellphone when the primary reason I want a V3X for is to be a "CTU"-like agent (read: 24 tv series), he says he has never seen a CTU agent with a hot pink cellphone on the series; 2) he's trying to convince me that I might not be able to sell it in the future when I plan to upgrade once again...
I've never been a "pink" person. In fact, my favorite colors are blue and black. But after giving birth to my daughter and having her dress in pink most of the time, the color sort of rubbed on me. And I think it's kinda cool to have a pink cellphone (but I won't look CTU enough, hahaha!).
So, this is sort of a survey to help me decide whether I go safe with black or blue or throw caution to the wind (to the dismay of my hubby) and go with pink.
I'm scheduled to purchase the cellphone this Thursday, Feb. 15.

well, i guess you have gotten the phone by now. i personally like the look of that hot pink phone to a CTU-like agent like you. it looks unique and cute. it's like you would give the impression of a softy and girly on the outside, but tough and smart on the inside. you are still a woman and color pink phone still fits you no matter what field you are in. i've seen that phone and it looks hot. hey, why didn't you consider the D&G version of V3x which is color light gold?

oh, that's ok. it's also the good color so your hubby can use it sometimes. maybe he would feel awkward to use that if it was a pink. it's good to know you are enjoying your phone now. i would have gotten that same phone if i saw it before i get the one i have now, sony ericsson K700.

Hey, thanks for your wonderful thoughts. The hot pink phone indeed looks hot. Sad to say, I didn't get that one. Hubby and I compromised and I got the cosmic blue one. It is a very cool phone! Using it with my laptop is so easy, I can do my text messaging using my keyboard (saves so much time when I'm working and people are amazed at "how fast I text"...hehehe). I also liked the D&G version but my supplier didn't have that one in stock.

so what did you get yourself now? do you look like the coolest CTU agent in town? =)
yeah, i hope you did follow your heart and bought that hot pink phone. it's very unique and attractive. i'm sure, it will compliment you and your daughter as well.
your husband won't really appreciate it, it's a girl thing. so go girl! =)

Hubby and I did a compromise. I chose the cosmic blue unit instead. It's my fave color and hubby gets to use the unit at the same time. But I still wonder about the hot pink unit though. Hmmmm...to simulate the CTU atmosphere, I also downloaded the "24 ringtone" and am currently using this one to signify calls/text messages from hubby.

I think u should get a PINK one. I really like PINK. Pink is alwayz HOT!!!!! Now change ur tastes and some of d preferences after u have ur child.

I see you've already bought your phone. Hot pink looks good! But the blue one should be ok too, and it would be easier to sell if you don't get tired of it. And, of course, you're right, hubby could borrow it from time to time. I'm sure he'd feel funny using a hot pink phone!
