well let me tell you that its very wrong on ur coll part to ban orkut.

yeah its because studnet are using orkuit in numbers and yeah the main problem here is with the teachers and some studnets ! means they complaint the management about the studnets activity over net and the sites get banned !! but no probs ! you can then also open any banned sites ! there are many ways to do that ! the one you pointed is to use proxy so ! one proxy site i want to add is www.kproxy.com you will get many like this and yeah ! this is the one which i use and its working fine for me!
