I would give some to charity, save some for my father, and buy a house with the rest. If I won enough I'd also buy some fun stuff like nice furniture, toys for my daughter, and a new car for my husband. If I won TONS of money I'd even try to pay off my student loans!

eventhough i haven't won anything yet, i donate old clothesandbooks to the carmelite monastery.they also help children who doesn't have families and thosewho cannot go to school.so if ever i won something, i would givethem generous amount so thatthey could help more homeless children and lhey could be able to let them study.it also brings joy to me to see the happiness in my child's eye whenever i give them small stuff so if ever i win something,i'd also give them their favorite things.

I don't think it's a good idea to get educational plans anymore. I will sell my house and buy a new one in a better neighborhood. I will travel a lot with my kids. I'll try to save the money, finish school and still continue to pursue my dreams.

Funny thing me and my wife was talking about that last night. First of all We both could quite work to raise our son. By being home we could start some home studies. Money seems to disapear quickly sometimes. I would want to be prepared. My mom would retire(she would have no choice). Then we would pack up and move. I am not sure where we would go. I just know we could help a lot more people that we are right now.

meandmy husband sometimes have the same conversations as you had.i am also concerned on my kid's future, and if by chance i won something, most of the money i will invest on their future.maybe open a trust fund for them so they will be secured for lifetime.:)
and as a said earlier , i would love to take them to disneyland and go for a cruise, what do you thinkof that?

if i were to win the lottery the first thing i'd do is take a trip to disney world with my daughter for a month. i'd also ask my friend and her two kids to join us on me. then when i got home i'd buy a new car, a house and then give my friends and family some money and put the rest away.

Depend on how much money I won... I would probably pay off my last debts, get a house and invest the rest :-)

I would buy a place to live that had a lot of room for myself and my family. I would pay all off my bills and debt. Then I would plan a trip to Disneyland because I really want to take my kids there... We live two hours away but I can't afford to take them right now.
I'd give some money to my grandparents and get gifts for other people I know. Then I would go on a thrift store shopping spree because even though I'd be rich, I'd want to go to every thrift store I could and buy whatever I want. I'd love to hit all the good thrift stores in California (although that would take forever! lol).
Buy my Mom a horse. Or however many she wanted.
There are many other things I'd do but for now that's what I'd do first.

Hey, you're a Filipina? Me too! MUSTA? LOL.
Well, if I win the lottery, I promise myself I would give to charity. They say you have greater chances to be struck by lightning than by winning the lottery, so by winning it should be considered a great blessing - therefore, should be shared with others. Then after that as my priority, I would buy my cousins clothes and give them gifts that they want so much, such as cellphones and stuff. I would also give them money to start their business with. I would buy clothes for myself and parents and treat my whole clan to Disneyland! Or a really luxurious resort such as in Fiji or Amanpulo here in the Philippines! Then, I would want our local church to be finished in construction. :) I really don't know much anymore, but these will be my knee-jerk reactions if ever I do get lucky. :)
