The revolt has begun....at 68,521 members and I thought it would have happened sooner....posts are popping up everywhere that mylot is this and that, that members are being cheated, that this JOB is to hard...so on and so on.... Any advice to the members that think that this is a rip off, or the members that some how think that mylot is a daily job..... Input and advice appreciated.

Firstly take a good look at the rating of those who are starting discussions like "this is hard, being cheated" or whatever. Often the ones who do this are relatively newbies but they are certain to get a lot of responses from others who will assure them that it is a good site, you can make money, have fun, meet friends etc. And guess what, they do make a lot of money from something like that type of discussion, which is often the actual aim. Also look at the respondents to these discussions and often you will find the same ones are responding to all of them, as well as starting their own on the same subject sometimes. LOL It is not a job, and anyone who considers that myLot is a job, actually needs to take a good hard look at themselves because I do not think it is possible. Certainly those who have a lot of referrals who are active can make money without much effort. However as we all know in most instances referrals are often not the most active members, or do people just start discussions abour referrals to make more money? Just a little cynicism maybe. LOL It is true that in some countries $10 US is not a great deal of money but it is in other countries who have a different standard of living. So it is always possible that for some people in the poorer countries, if they can earn their $1/day, that will be a considerable amount given the exchange rate but regardless of where a person lives, I do not think that is enough to live on. Not so long ago I received a pm from someone asking me about how much I earned because I have a high rating. I was a little vague about the actual amount, because that is really my business, but the person the responded telling me I could live very well earning that amount. Oh yeah, come into the real world of Australia where I live and we have a high standard of living, so you will see that it doesn't go far. However I can and do say that if a person starts good discussions, makes quality responses etc and is consistent, then they can earn a reasonable amount each month. BUT it is definately not enough to live on, so I view it as a hobby and what I earn as a little extra for something special that we might not otherwise be able to afford. That is where I differ from some other members, although of course many do think in the same way that I do. I am quite sure that myLot will not lose any sleep over these disgruntled people and if they decide to leave, that is their choice. :)

I don't think that MyLot is a rip-off in the sense that it does pay every month, and the pay is on time. I know this personally. I don't think of this place as a JOB, by any means. The pennies that we earn here could never be considered an income; it's extra money and it helps, but that's it. There is really nothing hard about it. You post discussions that interest you and comment in other's discussions when you have something to add. It's a fun place to spend time, get to know people, learn new things, and make a little bit of money. My problem with MyLot is that they do not respond to comments and concerns of the members quickly. If you have a legitimate concern, it will most likely go ignored. I find that to be frustrating. And this star rating system is the most unfair system ever. My rating in itself is an example. If you look at my profile and read what I've posted, you will see that the quality of my posts does not match the star rating. Someone got mad at me somewhere along the line and starting giving me negative ratings which I didn't deserve, and I dropped from a 10 to a 7 overnight. And MyLot did nothing about it. Many others are having this problem. My best advice is to stay here for as long as you can, have fun, and when you get fed up, you'll know that it's time to move on. Good Luck.

Great response, however, about the part where mylot does not respond, there is over 68000 members here, who knows just how many are contacting mylot at any given time, with that many memebers it can take days or weeks to respond to a memeber. I personally have contacted mylot several times and they have replied back, not quickly but they did none the less. If it is something pertaining to mylot itself, I will usually start a topic about it and get the other memebrs points of view.

Wildguy you know me, I am straight to the point, if they don't like it, then don't put silly Discussions in, leave. Why is the job so hard, that is what I want to know. What are they expecting. I have a good Friend here who is leaving, I don't know why but he has a good reason I believe. But Ihave noticed lately that a lot of People are saying they are going and I mean new Members mainly and I believe that most the time, they are writing this to get response. If it is a senior Member, then you know they have a good Reason, but when you get a new Member starting a Discussion like that, I wonder and I still see them about later after they got a lot of Responses on that one Discussion. This Site is not a rip of and a Scam, it is not a daily job. Where are these People coming from?

Try to find a system for your self here and keep track of everything ... quit worrying about being cheated and make sure you that you aren't by keeping your own records...I understand that we don't understand how my lot does pay each person but at least you can see what is going on ..and as for a job ...its not a job ...I would never work any job for a dollar day ...lol...its away to make alittle extra income for most and its fun to do ... So just try to be patient and hopefully mylot will have alot of these problems with letting people know why they had money added or taken away fixed soon and can give us all an alert so we do know......

i think they're just jealous on how has mylot became quite successful. they really don't have anything relevant to blame about mylot. they just post those things so that their discussions could be very controversial that would oblige honest and dedicated mylot users to respond to their alligations. and aside from earning, mylot become a hobby for people since we got lots of information and learnings from it (it's also knowledgeable), we get to meet new friends, thats why it becomes quite addictive.
