The Late Show getting less interesting?

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Dave!!! But I feel that the show is getting less interesting and boring - the Top Tens are not as funny as before. :( Why do I feel that Conan is slowly replacing Dave as the more exciting late show? Is it just me or do you all feel the same?

I am not crazy about Conan ( too jumpy) either but Dave has lost it.
I think his ego has ruined his show . He used to not take himself seriously. Lately he has gotten political and I think good guests are avoiding him. His humor is not fun anymore . It used to be so fun and silly ..nothing serious. Now he is trying to be Jon Stewart, Why? I do not know.
It means the people around him have completely cut him off from reality .
I watch Craig Ferguson on CBS 12:35 am, because his humor is lighter. He lets guests talk.

Exactly. He is trying to be like John Stewart. I like Conan's exaggerated ways actually. Haha :) I guess Dave is andropausal. :(

And we don't have Craig here in the Philippines, not yet. And the only reason why I'm not watching Leno is because of Dave (though I liked that episode when Borat upstaged Leno haha)

Too Bad ..I think you will like Ferguson if you ever get his show. I think Leno is a nice man but his show is too old fashioned but it does appeal to an older generation. Later I might go on the CBS website and ask if there are plans to air the Late Show with Craig Ferguson in the Phillipines. Who is looking out for you?

With Conan going head to head with Letterman I pick Conan over Dave. I like Conan's humor more and I understand the Letterman taking himself too seriously comments. I kind of have the same behaviors as Conan so when I see a guy like him making many viewers smile and laugh it gives me hope that one day I can do the same.

I enjoy both Dave and Conan. I like how Conan occasionally does oddball things to spice things up (like Dave did when he was at NBC.)
Even though I've been a long-time fan of Dave, there are a few things about his show which bug me. The "He looks like a man..." jokes in the monologue and the "Fun Facts" bit at the desk run WAY too long. The repeated fake calls from the California Highway Patrolman aren't funny. I also miss the bits when Dave would leave the studio (remotes, outings with Paul, etc.)
