Freemasons is strongly disgust by the Catholic Church because it said that it is an anti-Christ organization...According to my history book and some articles, it has a big contribution in attaining the Philippine independence...like they financed liberal movements against the Spaniards...What do you know about them? Does it still exists? Are they really anti-Christ or a liberal movement?

They aren't an anti-christ movement at all. In fact they believe in Christianity. I was a Rainbow Girl for a few years, which is a teenage girl group associated with the Masons. I was also a Catholic. I never heard about the Cahtolic Church having a problem with them. At least not currently. Perhaps when they were first formed but not know. They are a secret society. It is male with a female attachment much like the Knights of Columbus. There have been many famous mason's through out history and several that were part of the founding fathers of the US. Below is a link for more information on the Mason's:

Freemasonry is the oldest Fraternity in the world. It's teachings are of an ethical and moral nature and do not conflict with any religion. As a Mason, you are encouraged to frequent and study at the church of your choice.
In short, we are men from all walks of life who put aside our "place" in society to meet as equals. We attempt to improve ourselves through education and interaction because, when one ceases to learn, one ceases to grow.
As for secrets...how many secret organizations have you heard of who put a sign on the door leading you to them or a listing in the phone book?
Originally, stone masons were a select group of men who possessed very valuable skills. They guarded these skills religiously. Because of the secrets which you speak of, they could be recognized by builders throughout the land...by a hand shake. It allowed them to travel from town to town to work and assured the employer of their skill. We still use the handshakes but all of the so-called secrets are readily available to you on the internet.
As for the anti-christ, there are many men of the cloth enrolled among us. Many ministers from all denominations are represented. Some of the most respected men in your community are probably Masons as well.
We congregate in harmony in a world where little exists. We do not allow the discussion of either politics or religion in our meetings because of their devisiveness. We accept men of good standing from all walks of life and all religious backgrounds...our sole requirement is a belief in the Supreme Being...or in Masonic terms, the Grand Architect of the Universe.
For generations, the men of my family have been Masons and now my son is too. He has made a choice to be strive to be a man of conscience. Honorable, ethical and upright with all of mankind. That, my friend, is Masonry.
