Where are the best places to hike in US?

I'm an avid hiker and especially love hiking Lake Superior. Where is your favorite place?

I was born in Aberdeen, Mt. Ranier is beautiful! My mother is still in Washington State!

I live in South Lake Tahoe and we are so lucky, we can drive in any direction for 5 minutes and hike all day and night if we want. I like to go up around Emerald Bay, there are all kinds of trails there, have you ever been? If not you should consider it, not only do I live in a beautiful place (Check out my pictures) we have THE BEST summers ever, not too hot and not too cold!
