realname with a dash! / myLot

i have a friend who really has a unique name. he's name has a dash with it. his name spells like this: FRA-AND. have you encountered a name with a dash or hyphen?

My sister's name is Mae-Lanie. That's how it is written in her birth certificate. For the longest time we didint know, and she write her name without the dash, but now she have to write it with a dash because thats supposed to be her official name.

i had a friend named Mary-Lou in school. My grandma's name was Mary-Ann. My mom has a friend named Mary-Ellen. . . I've never seen a name with a dash that didn't contain the word Mary in it until now

hey this is my first time to encounter such names. here in our place, those are common names but without a dash just mary lou, mary ann, mary ellen.
