I wouldn't mind visiting Iran. They seem to be one of the more free countries in the region. I've heard the public is generally not American hating. Less devout than expected, religious, but it's not so all-consuming as in other places.
Nice looking achitecture. It would be cool to see that and not get caught up in some 3000 year-old bull$hit.
