Do people love peace?

As cliche as it may sound, I do believe that everybody wants world peace? Is there anybody out there who desire war? (ok.. maybe the military people?) will the world be a better place without war or conflicts? What can we do to really achieve world peace? Or is it just another fantasy? something that is impossible to have? I think that given everybody's different personalities, war is also bound to happen. Think about it..even brothers argue with each other. Much less between countries! But I believe that if everybody makes an effort to love each other and to be more kind, the world will definitely be a better place.
