I think one of the main reasons people are so passionate about music, other than it being a huge creative force, is that it is kind of like another sense. By that I mean that music has the ability to remind you of certain times and situations that have happened in your life. I know from my personal experience I have songs and artists that remind me of friendships, romances, travel and holidays, and even work places. The minute I hear some songs it takes me back to memories, some great, some not so great! Either way it can be a pretty magical and powerful sense of recall.
