Many people believe that the Bible is outdated and while being a very good book with great stories, it is just not useful for our modern day world.
I do believe the bible's laws and principles are still useful and following them provides protection against many difficulties. What do you think?

God is the same yesterday, today, and into the ages. In fact, there's nothing new. All that men think of or do are in the Holy Bible. The Holy Bible is complete. What we believe that is modern today has already been told in the Holy Bible. What we contemplate whether good or bad is written in the Holy Bible.
Man will die because God appointed time for us to die but the Word of God will never pass away. The Holy Bible is the source of unending wisdom and everytime you read the Holy Bible, even if you have read it so many times before, as if you have not read them before and they give you fresh knowledge. Perhaps many people do not notice this but try it yourself and you will find that what I'm telling is true.

Those who believe that the Bible is outdated are the ones who are outdated and are getting old. The Bible is God's word and it is the truth. Other things changes but the truth never changes, it remains forever. The Bible is a book of truth and a book of life. The Lord says in John 6:63 " the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are LIFE" and the Bible also says that the word of God is profitable for teaching, for correction, for conviction, for instruction in righteousness...the Bible is never be outdated...you need to read it everyday because it is the source of our life supply... man doesn't live by bread alone but also by every word that proceeds out from the mouth of God....His speaking is in the Bible. whoever doesn't read the Bible is in darkness...

The Bible lives on for all time. We are warned not to be taken by the things of this world, it doesn't matter where technology takes us or what the culture says is OK morally. Right and wrong 2000 years ago is right and wrong today too.
The Bible is not just a good book written to give guidelines to an older society, it is about another reality, the reality of the spirit and a life after this one. Nothing man can come up with will make you live forever, and nothing man can come up with will change heaven or hell or Gods truth and reality.
We are members of another family, one not of this earth. We can determine the Bible to be outdated, and if we do then when this life is over, we will be in the same place with those of the worldly view. If we believe the message the Bible conveys and accept by faith the grace given us by God, then we are a part of His family and when this life is over we have a place that is prepared for us.

I don't think the bible could ever be outdated. God provided it for us to live by, He didn't say this generation live by this book but the next one change it to suit their needs. The bible gives us rules to live by, protection, strength, and a way to know more of Jesus. You can't put a date on any of those things their the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
