I don't think Valentines day is "that" important though. I, for one, am a lonely person (for a few days now) but it's no big deal. I don't mind seeing people on the sreet enjoying Valentines Day, celebrating it.. y'know! I'd be very happy seeing them having fun, especially the "oldies". *BëáMs* Our parents should spend Valentines day together in the mall. They should see a movie and enjoy. Eat at their favorite restaurant; basically, just have fun, right? :þ

It's only important to all the companies that make a fortune on it. For people in love it's not important or should not be important. It's like you suddenly have to be romantic for one day. What about the rest of the year then? I would much rather be romantic whenever I felt like it and then maybe surprise my girlfriend with flowers.

To me Valentines Day is a pain .I I work in a restaurant and it is one of the most busiest days of the year. Needless to say all the tables come in with only two people but then I guess Valentines Day is not a group acclivity.

I don't think it's important at all. It's just a Holiday made up by flower companies, Hallmark and candy makers. If you love someone, you should show them that year round, not just one day a year.
