I have to agree with everyone else on their suggestions for Firefox and then I have to add my own comments/questions...
Windows ME??? That's the absolute worst version of Winblows ever. I know you can't upgrade to XP, but have you ever thought of using someone's old 98 disks? Surely, you know of someone who used to use 98 and has upgraded to XP. Maybe you don't, but if you do, I suggest you switch to 98. 98 might've been pre-ME (ROTFL), but at least it's better than ME. Just some friendly little advice...

Sure, no problem! I remember getting my laptop several years ago and it came with ME on it. I'd heard all the horror stories about it and kept it on my computer to see if it was really bad as everyone was saying it was and sure enough, it was! It didn't take very long for me to reformat my hard drive and install Linux on it until my 98 disk arrived. I hope you can find a 98 disk and it all works out for you. Good luck!

Download FireFox (http://www.mozilla.com/), it will solve all of your problems.

Mozilla Firefox should work perfectly on Windows ME, you should try it. Using IE 5 or below version is not a good idea, since you'll be missing a lot of stuff on the Internet then.
