I'll probably just throw it away or give it to my little brother if it's still usable. Computers are changing so fast upgrades can barely keep up. You can buy a new desktop for $300-$400 now which is cheaper than buying a new hard drive, RAM, and a copy of Vista. So, upgrading is becoming more impractical by the day as prices drop.

My computer is very old but my son keeps upgrading it, so I expect to get another few years out of it. If it should become useless, then I will buy a new one and either give this one to a charitable cause or I will send it to be recycled to help combat Global Warming.

Well, I think that I'll give it as a gift to some child, to a son of some friend, probabily. This is my fourth computer and when I decide to change it, usually it is so old that I can't sell it for a reasonable amount of money, so I prefer to give as a gift.

first i will try to update it.......if it cannot be then i will see if i can put its good parts in the new computer(which i will intend to buy)......if this cannot be done then its of no use to keep it even if u have grown up a deep sense of attachment towards it........gadgets should not be trusted they can pose a lot of problems sometimes...
