Braveheart - Mel Gibson's Best?

I have seen a lot of Mel Gibson movies. Last one being Apocalypto - nice movie. But there is some thing about Braveheart that makes it special. I think it was very inspiring to see how much some one loves his wife, and country. What do you think, makes this movie so special.

It was an excellent movie and a good version of the story of William Wallace. I believe Gibson deserved the awards he got for the movie. Considering it was his first one to direct and he wins best film that year says something. I do enjoy watching it when I get the chance. It is long otherwise I might watch it more often.

oh, yeah. it is a long movie. But i'm grown up watching 3 hour bollywood movies. So i dont actually find it lengthy and boring..... never.
