I accidentall hit a dog in my motorcycle!

Just driving home last month with my motorcycle,when suddenly a dog cross the street,i have no chance to brake or to change direction so i directly hit the dog.Unfortunately my wheels got stock the time i hit the dog,sending me to air and landing 2 meters away.I got away with bruised arms and legs and a broken motorcycle.Did the owner of the dog have the responsibiliies for my medications?because i think they get unawared that their dog is wandering off the streets!

yah the dog just simply run away after.I tried to look for the owner but people who knows them just wont give information.

Sorry to hear that you had an accident. But I don't think that the owner of the dog is responsible for it. As a driver, we must always be alert. Just like when you hit a kid who suddenly acrossed the street, still it's not the parents' fault right. That's the risk that drivers had to take. Even its not our fault, it is still our fault. :-( Take care.
