it's going on on my mind since a long time. i m depressed all the time it just feels like i have lost all the interests in life. there seems no use of all these things we do they lead u nowhere. then why not end such a life? i don't know why people have tagged suicide with cowardlyness, even if it's cowardice what will it matter for me after i m dead? yet these teachings have great impact on my mind that's why i can only THINK about committing suicide and perhaps would never be able to do it in real!:( how many chances r there of ur committing suicid when u think about it at least twice a day?does anyone else having the same depressed feelings?

Everyone gets depressed, I totally understand. You may need to talk to you'r doctor about anti-depressants. They do help. You need to talk to a professional about what you are going through. You are reaching out for help that is the first step.Does you'r family know you feel like this? You need some support. I had a great depression problem and I told my doctor. Please let someone close to you help you. This is very important. If you need someone to talk to you can send me a message. I will listen. I hope this helps.LOL

i too feel that i need to talk to someone but the problem is that i m not sure myself that why do i feel this way.as for my life i assume it is not what is to be called a failed one, also i don't have any relationships problem i think. usually i try to get the solutions of my problems myself by thinking it over and getting it clear in my mind and until i haven't found the reasons for my problems i don't talk about it to others. but this time everything is just so mixed up in my mind i just can't understand but anyway thanx for ur support!:)

Just talking today has helped. There are many nice people that are willing to listen here. Please let you'r doctor or family help. Tell them. It is not shameful. Feel free to use this forum as a outlet if you cannot share this with anyone else. lol

You are so young to have these feelings. Depression is a sickness and must have treatment to overcome it. No matter how many words I say to you I will not be able to make you see things differently. You need counseling and meds to overcome this feeling. I have never had these thoughts, I have had thoughts of taking other peoples lives but never my own. When I am down and out I just think and get up fighting harder.

I can see there are alot of people had responded to your call... Please try to listen to these people because they can also help you understand yourself. They may not be professionals but at least it helps you release your anxiety. There are alot of people out there willing to listen to you. So if you still feel bad or depressed, feel free to discuss it here. Sometimes we just need somebody to understand and listen to us.

Read the Bible, go to Church, pray a lot, tell someone about your difficulties, confide to a trusted friend. Find so fresh air. Take deep breathing and put out the painful sigh. Listen to good music. Seek help a good psychiatrist can help.

I also have been where you are. It wasn't pleasent; but I did make it through with the help of my family , friends and my doctor. I have a chemical imbalance in my brain. I still have days when I feel really down and want to give up. But, I have to remember I have a family that loves me and I love them too! I've been on meds for 10 years . I really hate taking them; but I know without them I'm reaaly , really depressed. This all came out when my husband of almost 25 years decided to leave me and our 2 preteenage kids. I was devastated! I tried to kill myself 3 times. It didn't work!!!!! Thank god! I'm still here. There is a purpose for everyones life!

We all have our low points in life. I guess what we can do about it is try to see something positive in any situation we're in. Every morning I start my day thanking, counting the things I am grateful for. This has helped me shift from complaining & focusing on the negative to seeing the beauty and looking forward to a happy day.

I will not tell you lie. Yes, sometimes it happens everybody's life. But to speak the truth, it is not the ultimate solution. Those who are willing to die for adverse situations, are loser. You have to brave enough to accept challenges and fight according to that situation. It might happen that you lose the challenge but the effort you put in is the core thing and it will boost you to win other challenges in life.

I think my first peice of advice would be to see a therapist. I'm not insulting you or anything by saying that but I think it would help you to sort out your thoughts. Second of all, pray. Prayer is extremely strong in these situations. And have faith. You were given life for a reason, don't ever think about taking it for no reason.
