Do you think the united states should provide health care for all of it's citizans? The health care would be paid for like it is now, but everyone pays in some and everyone gets the same coverage.

We should. Most European counties have it. They can see doctors as many times as they want without paying one penny.

We have an exchange student from Germany and he was telling me the same thing, he doesn't understand why we don't go to the doctor much and why we have to pay for everything.

I think we should have coverage. I know Canada has health coverage for their citizens.I always tease my husband and tell him we should move there. We have so many medical bills I claimed it on my taxes this year.I had 70 prescriptions through the year costing 1500.00. No wonder we are broke.I know since the war they are considering cutting down medicare and medicade. That is a price we will have to pay for the war.I do not see that changing it will just be less and less.Walmart is selling prescriptions for 4.00 dollars but it is only 300 out of 900 prescriptions covered. They also have clinics now. Maybe that will help. lol

I hope they will do something soon, it's getting to the point where I am getting a little imbarressed about the lack of concern our country showes for it's citizans. It seems the goverment cares more about other countries then there own. Sometimes thats okay, sometimes it's not, right now I think the billons they have spend on the war could be better used at home.
