do you really pray god every day? i pray god every to give me strength to withstand all the difficulties i may face. in the end i say may everyone on the earth be happy and peaceful. do you do that or you expect something from god for yourself everyday? for example students going to temple and say oh god see that i pass in this exam or that. is it being selfish to god when you expect always?

I think if we expect something to God is okay, but the important part is we must have good relation with our God. I mean that have a good communication. Good communication mean that everytime we must have correlation, a good quality of communication. In everytime remember God, not only when we are praying. It will give you good relationship to God. And if it fulfill, ask everthing (which is good to God)it will be answer.

i couldnt get your point. what do you mean by good relation and communication. did you mean that if anyone keeps on relating to god by praying only then he is blessed otherwise he is not? because you need something you would go to god orelse you wouldnt, is that not being selfish? now how to measure quality of communication to god.

yes i do say my prayers everyday right in the morning before i take anything to eat. I do ask god for favours for me and for my family and i know that my prayers are answered. All prayers said truly are answered that's what i believe and have experienced.

nice that you pray everyday and seek favours even before eating anything. in a way dont you think you are praying only because you need some favour or expecting something otherwise you would not?. my point is that by doing so is it being selfish to do so? you pray truly and you are answered, what if you pray truly and your prayers are not answered. would you continue to pray or leave because you are not being favoured?

I don't really pray everyday. When i am able to think about praying, I would. Although sometimes I am guilty of asking too many things from God. I am not expecting everything would be realized, but when some of my prayers are answered I usually say my thanks. What I pray most is that God to give me guidnace to choose the right decisions. If prayers are not answered, I just think that God has better plans for me.
