Would you rather be rich or poor, or in between?

My husband and I don't have a lot of money, but we're extremely satisfied with our lives. I mean some days it wouldn't hurt to have a little extra cash, but it's nothing to be depressed about. I know a lot of people who have a lot of money, and they're just extremely unhappy with their lives. And then I know a lot of people who aren't well off and they're extremely satisfied and happy with their lives. So would you prefer to be rich, or poor, or in between and why?

I would rather be in between rich or poor.Because if you are poor you can't afford a thing, when you are rich you can afford all the things and that is not good either.Between is way better.

It depends on how you determine rich and poor here.
Some people see me as rich, because they probably see that they don't have what I have now.
But some people see me poor, because they have more than what I have right now.
I myself, wouldn't mind being filthy rich. lol
Though, I also don't mind being poor, because in my own terms, I see myself poor, now.:)
If I could choose, I would like to have enough, or more than enough.
Nevertheless, however THE BIG GUY wants or trusts me with the money, then I will just say, Thy will be done and so help me God.

I've been fortunate enough to have been raised in a very 'well off' family. I HATE MONEY WITH A PASSION. I have never taken advantage of it and I've always turned away from the temptation of it. I would rather be happy living in a shack in the middle of nowhere with the one I love, than in an empty echoing mansion with 'The Jones's'

I wouldn't want to ever be poor. But I don't care to be rich either. I just want enough money to do what I want. If I had a lot of extra money now it wouldn't really make me happy. Because what I want different in my life is a change. To be done with school already, get married and have a family of my own. And money can't buy all that.

in between. I need money to save for the future and pay the bills and loans. But after that I really don't think being rich is necessary. Of course I would like to have big savings just in case, but it's not only for me.

In between.
I used to work at a private club full of real, honest to god millionaires. They were a miserable bunch!
Success if a personal journey. Being rich or having the nicest stuff is foolishness.

i prefer to be in between,as long as i have a food, clothes, shelter and a happy family that's the most important.Yeah, mostly rich people are unhappy coz money sometimes tempt you to do bad things that you will regret at the end.If you have lot of money you will think that you can buy everything, but not love.Sometimes i will wish that if i'm only rich i will help poor people or everybody who needs help.

I am poor and I am not happy. It would be nice to have enough money to pay my bills ontime. I dont neccassarily want to be rich but would like to have enough money to pay bills eat and buy some little extras as i need them and to be able to put away five or ten dollars in a savings account. Right now I am just barely making it. Thats why I love mylots because I can be here and make a few extra dollars to pay off my internet bill.

I am poor but I am happy. Extra money to keep bills paid would be nice. No way would I want to be rich. Richness would make me miserable as I would not know what to do with it. I have never had much and as long as I am happy that is fine.

I guess its ok to have enough money for you and your family. They say that too much is also bad. And besides, its not the money that makes people happy, its what you can spend from them. So if your making enough money and its enough for your family and they're happy with it, then its ok to be neutral in your lifestyle.

Well i would like to be drowning in dollars but i dont think thats wat life is about.I think it is best to be in the middle rich and poor at the same time.Cause that not only provides you motivation to move on but also satisfaction of having achieved something. And also this situation insures a good night's sleep...

i prefer to be in between i.e rich nd poor. Neither one should be that much poor that he wont be able to bear basic necessaties of life nor one should be that much rich that he has nothing left to achieve.High cash and little cash both leads man to the wrong way.I belong to a very modearte family.i know the timings when i work extra hours to buy gifts 4 my love ones and u know wht i feet more happy and satisfied.

i think nobody wants to become a poor man. after all human needs can only be satisfied by things that can be bought by exchange of money.i've also known people who got lots of money but aren't satisfied.if people have lots of money but lot more needs then of course there will be no satisfaction. hence it becomes very important to limit ones needs and wants to remain happy in life. if given a choice, i'll prefer being rich but with lesser needs!

PEOPLE SHOULD HAVE ONLY THAT MUCH WHICH IS ENOUGH TO SURVIVE,IF U HAVE EXTRA THEN U WOULD BE EXCITED AND U WILL ALWAYS B SLEEPLESS.. CARING ABOUT THE MONEY..! ONE SHOULD BE SATISFIED WITH WHAT ONE HAVE..! BUT HUMAN NATURE IS NOT LIKE THAT,, ONE WANTS MORE AND MORE,, hUMAN IS THE MOST GREEDY ANIMAL BUDDY..!

I dunno if I would phrase the question that way myself. Money itself
is pretty much meaningless. What do I mean by this? If you don't know
or understand what truly makes you happy, you can spend a lot of money
on things that don't really satisfy you.
Heres a question. Are you able to do the things you want to do? Do
you feel comfortable and secure about your future? I think some people
had a time when they wanted to do something and needed money, and then
spent soo much effort getting money, that they forget what they wanted
it for and even worse they forget to actually live life opting in stead
to save up money for it.
If you are happy on a personal level, then no outside validation or money
is required to prove this.

I belongs to an average family... but even sometimes money may not be enough to satisfy my daily needs. I dont wish to be rich man , but just want enough money to pay my bills, for my foods, for my clothings, to protet my parents and all. I pray to god, someday my suffering will be over.

Well me personally I would rather be in between because being rich wouldn't be. I think this because I hear so many stories about people that have won the lottery. They said they would have rather been where they were before and that they wish they had never won it in the first place so that right there for sure tells you somthing. I wouldn't want to be poor because then i may not be able to go do things I love to do or get things that I want to buy. I would rather in between because I would just be normal not too rich not too poor. Just living a normal happy life.
