What is the best discussion site for spreading your word?

Which site is the most liberal or lenient about putting links in your chat to your websites? I'd like to share my ideas and give people the opportunity to visit my site for more information. I feel that I must do that only through my Profile here. The only other chat site I've used is Yahoo Answers. I had success putting my link in my chat without getting in trouble. Can you recommend other sites that don't mind this activity?
