Somebody Said That The Map am using is American Map!!! QUOTE

Well, I happen to be an American, was taught World History and Geography all thru school, I even know where Canada is. I guess some of us didn't pay attention very well in school though, as in schools all over the world. Or mabye just didn't care very much about all that stuff, which is sad, because we all are interconnected and have a part in each others lives.

I can't believe that a Canadian neighbor would say such an ignorant thing about Americans. I am an American, and I happened to take American History, World History, and Geography throughout high school. I would bet that my education equals if not far exceeds yours. In addition, I have 6 years of college and 2 years of Graduate school, and have earned an Associates degree, Bachelor's degree, and a Master's degree. I could point to Canada on the map and can even drive there without directions! I can name all of the countries of North America WITHOUT a list. Pretty good for an American, right? To get back to the topic, maybe you, as a Canadian, should learn how to read and work on your reading comprehension. The discussion stated that somebody told the user that his map was an American map (Ie: a map of the U.S.). He did NOT say that an American said that. No American would mistake that map for a map of our country. Maybe it was a Canadian who made the comment?
