such rude comments

How come is it when a celeb dies, people then come out of the woodwork and start making such mean and disgusting comments.
I mean take for example (and I will use this one for some time) Anna Nicole Smith. She dies unexpectedly, and people are making such comments like "well the baby is better off", "she was an unfit mother" , "she doesn't care about her infant daughter" "the baby is happier now" .. I mean how sick and pathetic is that. I mean this woman just died, her daughter is never going to know her mother or brother.
What if she hadn't of died, then what would people think of her?
Same when Elvis died - people make comments like "oh he choked on his own vomit" "he knew he was going to die" "his career went down when he died with a floater in the bowl" And how many years later they are still talking about Elvis.
Same with Marilyn Munroe. To this day no one knows for sure how she died, they just ruled it a suicide, but nobody knows for sure what happened.
So whats up with the rude comments? I mean this is out of control!

I think it's just so easy for some people when there is no attatchment to the person. Just because someone is famous people seem to feel it's ok to judge them. I'm sure if it was a member of their family they wouldn't be so quick with their "wit". I think some people just like a scandal, if there isn't one then they try to create one. The funny thing is probably most of the people making these comments don't really know much about the facts. They just like idle gossip and being a part of the crowd. It sickens me when I bother to think about it..so I just tell myself.."There but for the grace of god go I" and let them be the fools they are.

It mekes them feel morally superior to abuse celebrities and their lives and deaths. Mind you, most of those people are the ones who stand around and watch someone die because of a car crash because they aren't capable of offering assistance. Anything to make them feel better about how small and useless they really are.

Sad sad people. How fickle people can be, they idolise stars and celebrities and build them up to great and dizzying heights only to tear them down at their leisure. It must make them feel important or special. Lack of self-esteem and it is an easy target

thank you. I feel great sorrow for her family. I know that she had a lot of drama around her life but who doesn't? She was a human just like the rest of us only her life was right there in the media's eye. I am disgusted at the way people have taken great pleasure in someone els's pain.

I notice that a lot of people are very cruel with judgment on anyone they don't like or even don't know well enough, and I'm not just talking about celebrities, it could be a neighbor or someone in the office, etc
I don't like to judge people especially those who I never knew personally, what we hear and see is not always the truth.. I can't say That I liked Anna or followed her news but I can't help but feel sorry for her now..
