Why are there so many cat discussions?

I see at least one everyday that I log in. So why do so many people have cats and not dogs. I personally hate cats and dogs are the best.

You're certainly entitled to your opinion and your preference. Personally, I love both cats and dogs. I'm just curious, though. Why do you hate cats? You can start a dog discussion if you want to! We'll respond!

they dont do anything. you cant have the fun with a cat that you do with a dog.

My cat does a lot! They do play different than dogs, and you can't take them out for a walk or a run, but they are easier to take care of! I see what you mean, though, if you're thinking of how you can teach a dog to fetch and bring a ball back or play frisbee with you or something. Cats tend to entertain themselves, which is just plain funny to watch.

what makes them smarter, that they can clean themselves or find their way home. you can at least trust a dog to protect you.

People with dogs have better things to do, Such as cleaning up after the little mutt because he just peed on the carpet;)

Mylot is still a relatively small community. At least the ones that contribute. As we get more folks there'll be more hot spots.
