The lord of the rings, have you ever read this great book?

Hello! First of all let me say that I really love this book! I've read it at least 10 times and I'm talking about a book that has a minimum of 1000 pages! I also watched the film...yes it's really nice (especially the special effects!) but nothing to compare with the book. If you never read it I strongly recommend to you! And don't worry about the 1000pages and more...this book will be read in about a week. The style of Tolkien (the writer...)is so easy to read that you never will be bored or annoyed.
I'm sure that if some of you have already read this book will agree with me completely!

My one is Gandalf...I really love him!!!

I totally agree.The Lord of the Rings is truly spectacular!!!My mom says it's my bible for I've read it over and over again.It won't ever bore me.I love all the characters but I like Legolas Greenleaf the most.

I've read the first of the 3 series only, The Fellowship of the Ring. I even made a term paper in high school for this book. I loved it, I still have to read it all again though. I agree with you, it's a great book. Tolkien's creativeness is way of out of this world. He's a great writer.
