Do you agree ...

This post completely offends me. No, I am not a lesbian...but I think that gays and lesbians are just as much people as we are. They are 100% normal...no more or less normal than we are. And telling them to stay in a corner and shut up? That is so immature/irritating. They could say the exact same thing to you. I think it is totally disrespectful to put down a large group of people like that. I understand that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but you can voice your opinion without insulting people that much.

I don't scream that I'm gay to the heavens but I am what I am. If I stay in my 'corner' as you put it would you stay in your's? No, you'd roam about and complain about others. So I'm coming out of my corner and pushing against your little bubble. I'm sorry to bust it but get over it. We're here and there is nothing you can do about it. Now, stop being such a close minded bigot and get over it.

I don't think that they should just shut up and all that, but what bugs me is the way that everyone cowers to them, alsays afraid to offend them or whatever. It is silly. They are a part of the world, like it or not, and can be made fun of and/or critizied just like anyone else.
