I have one book in my bathroom for you know when, heheehe and one book at work for my lunch time and I'm also reading the Bible at all other times. So I guess 3 books in all at the moment.

I usually have between 4 and 6 books going at a time. I keep one in my school bag to read during my breaks at school. I have one in my purse at all times. I have a book in the car, books the in the bathrooms, a book by the side of my bed, and a book at my mom's house.

I usually have three or four going at one time. I don't get things confused. I have several going, with different subjects, because I may not be in the mood for a certain type of book. That history book? No, not today, that involves too much thought. How about that vampire novel? That's fairly brainless. It all depends on my mood which one I pick up. I also usually have a book at work, and one in the car. I read constantly, can you tell?

Very true! It does depend a lot on the mood you're in!

I prefer to read one book at a time. I can finish a book usually in a few days - once I get started - it is like an addiction. I prefer books to movies hands down.

I enjoy reading books one at a time. Not because I would get anything mixed up, but because its more fluid that way. To me its better to stick with only one and be able to fully immerse myself with that one book. By doing it that way, not only do I get more out of the experience, but also, I finish the book much faster.

That's true...books would get finished faster if I just stuck to one.

I don't read at all. I am too lazy. I used to read a lot before now I am getting sooo lazy to think. I just want to relax and party after school. I don't read my text book anymore. I don't know. I am just depressed these days I guess. I want to make money intead responding discussions.

How do you do that? I could never start one unless I finish the other first. I would be so confused that I probably not finish any of them. 6 WOW!

Lol I have a really short attention span...so often times when I make time to read it will be 10 pages out of one book, then 10 pages out of another, and so on lol. I wish I had a better attention span!

I like reading one and only one book per time..reading is a very important matter for me..each books leaves me with a particular feeling..therefore I cannot imagine having two or more books going at the same time...I mean it is just like a love story..one book per time..and I can start another only when I finish the precedent one..moreover, I buy only a book per time...I am always having a look at the latest books and going to the bookshops it is one of my favourite hobbies but i don't like accumulating books I have to read..I want to choose my book each time..it is like being inspired at the moment..!!!

Well, I don't have a WHOLE lot of time (it seems) any more, but I have been known to have 3 or 4 going at once! I don't get anything confused, either.....I like being able to go from one to the other, makes the books last longer!! lol

once i have tried to read 2 books not because i want to. it was because i misplaced the first book i was reading. and when i was at the middle part of the 2nd book, i found the 1st one. and since i was hooked up to both, i managed to finish every chapter in alternate, kinda watching 2 tv series. but i don't think i'll do it again.

I usually keep at least three books going at once. I mix them up though. Only one novel at a time but I'll throw in a biography or something non fiction. I always have a couple decorating books in my reading pile. I love those Shabby Chic, American Junk, French Style kind of books.

wow! you must be one of the "HEROES"! you can do that? i can only read one book at a time. i do not want to read fast because i would like to take my own sweet time to savor every moment with the book and digest what i have read or what struck me. that is real reading, re-living it inside, feeling it inside your mind and heart. kinda try it out ,it's cool!

If I'm on a reading kick I might have two or three going at the same time, but usually it's just one. It works best if I mix up fiction and nonfiction.
