Yesterday i watched a film in tv at 9 pm. I don't remember the title but after a few minutes i changed channel to watch something else...that film was really too much violent and disgusting!!! Now I'm adult and in any moment I can change the channel or even switch off the TV...but if at my place there was a child?...
Am I too much "antique"?

No , you are right they have way to much violence on t.v for younger children to see . Not sure why they feel that violence is going to make the show any better but somehow they feel the more violence the bigger audinece they will get . This is kind of scary when you think about it . Even in the cartoons you have to pay close attention to what your children are watching because they even contain violence of some nature in them .

you are right!... i forgot the cartoons when i post my topic...that's really true! It's really terrible that even in cartoons there is so much violence and bad behaviour to teach to child that are watching them! Don't be surprise if when they'll grow up they will probably be a violent people too...

This is something we must take care of. The stark reality that there is too much violence in tv nowadays is just right there. How to cope and go about it is now in the hands of the adults. It is good that you do not enjoy watching these violent shows because somehow such will have some negative effect in us which of course, something not desirable. If there is a child with you, you should practice doing it so much more. We have still some choices left in our hands anyway. They hold these talk shows, variety shows and entertainment shows which is fit to be seen by everyone in the family aside from the newscast. But, you will find that even the news contain a lot of violent items, too. Hence you will find the need to explain what is contained in the news to the young ones and exchange of ideas usually follows since, these children have thoughts to share also.
