do you speak lie

I try not to, but I am sure I have told a little lie in the past. I have always felt it is easier to tell the truth, then I do not have to remember the lies.

I'm sure everyone, at one time or another, has told a lie. Mine have usually been to keep myself from being punished, or to save myself from embarrassment. If I had to tell a lie to protect someone I loved, I would probably do it without giving it a second thought. Even when the lie we tell seems to bring some good thing to us, no lasting good ever comes from doing something evil and, eventually, the lie will become known and you will have to admit it. I would like to say I will never tell another lie, but I probably will. I do hope that any future lies I tell will be few and far between and that I will improve in the matter as time goes by.
