Im wanting to get a tattoo on my lowerback of a fairy. I done have two tattoo's and they didn't hurt. I have heard people say it is very painful on their lowerbacks. Do you know or have you heard anything about it?

I know someone who said that it didn't hurt on his arm, but my guess is that you get pain from where ever it is. lowerback possible the skins tender there much more than upper part. Personally i don't know anyone who's had one on there lower back. although the same person i mentioned above had on near there spine not right near but close. (he's a tough dude and he said it hurt) Kudos. ~Joey

=) You won't know other wise lisa. If it's something you want then go ahead just remember it hurts more to have 'em removed. (well i believe) Goodluck with it. ~Joey

I,ve got a small tatoo on the right side of my lower back. Of course it hurt and I'm sure it hurt more in the center bvut it,s not the place that hurt the most. My tatoo on my ankle had hurt me more.

I have a tat in the same place and it really didn't hurt. The one on my ankles was 1,000 times worse. I went with a friend who got a tiger cub right smack in the middle of her lower back, right over the spinal column. They had to stop tattooing her mutliple times because she couldn't take the pain. At one point she almost passed out.

My son used to do tattoos, he put one on a womens lower back. She carried on like he was killing her, and this wasn't her first tattoo. Good Luck.

Mine is centered on my lower back. It hurt but I have a high pain tolerence. It took about 2 hours to do. I was lucky that the artist gave me a little break to stretch and walk around a bit.

Yes i can stand a good deal of pain esspecially if im trying to be tough LOL. I would have to find an artist who would let me have a break too.

I have one on my lower back center and it hurt very bad because it's right over your spine. Just remember to eat something before you go to prevent yourself from getting sick from the adrenaline rush.
