Love the winter foods more and more every year. Now time to think about cutting back a little to go to the pool with the kids. I'm far from overweight, but age is catching up a little at a time. Feeling a little uncompfortable this year going out in a swim suit. How do you take off a couple pounds without taking away your favorite winter foods?

I think maybe you could compromise and keep eating what you want, just start exercising and moving around more.
Since it's colder, you can warm up through some exercise before you put on that sweater! lol
Good luck --I'm right there with you on this!

Well I am lucky, that I don't really put on weight, but I guess if it is just a few pounds, then exercise is the best. Maybe get off the bus/train to work one stop earlier, and walk the rest of the way, or use the stairs at work instead of the left. And if you're not working, just maybe do a 10 minute "dace" routine on your own to music in the mornings, or walk to the local shop. I agree with you about the winter foods though - I love them too, - so hope you can find a way to lssoe weight without stopping them!
