Diabetes Risk Test

United States
February 10, 2007 9:25pm CST
I just took this risk test at www.diabetes.org/risk-test. I tested poorly with a +11 points. However I am not surprised. My family has a history of diabetes so I try to be aware of symptoms and try, although not always succesfully, to eat healthy. Hope it helps someone.

Thank you for the link. I will give it to a friend of mine. She is o.k. now but at high risk due to family history. It will be very much appreciated.

Thank you for mentioning this link and test as I just took it myself and was rated very low for diabetes. We all should be careful what we eat and make sure we are getting exercise to reduce our risk of getting diabetes. My last blood sugar test showed that I was slightly elevated so that makes me concerned though my family does not have that problem. I have bookmarked this site for future use. Hopefully you will not get diabetes and that you will be careful as well.

I have fought blood sugar problems for as long as I can remember. It bothers me at times that I know I will most likely end up with diabetes (type II) Everything I have read on it suggest it is avoidable by taking good care of yourself.
