In our local dialect "Kinarir mo tol!" But I see no problem with that. I also came from a different course, engineering from UP diliman and shifted to nursing when I was in my 2nd year so that I can finish my studies while it is in demand. Now I am a registered nurse. But it is good you are taking up nursing. Doctors now are taking up nursing for a simple reason. Doctors = MD which means "Mayaman dati" and Nurses = RN which means "Rich Na!" So that I believe is the difference.

Well, that question is very subjective. Are you seeking advice or are you just asking personally which occupation I prefer? If you're seeking advice, I would say that the best occupation for a person is the one that he/she finds satisfaction (or happiness) in, and is skilled for. If you're asking me which occupation is the best, of course I would say being a Medical Doctor (because all those courses are pre-medical), followed by Nursing (which is also very lucrative).
