Most people rank relationship as the most important thing in their live. Most important than job security, higher than income, higher than career.
Now I'm not talking about any kind of relationship, I am talking about the kind where respect, laughter, love and fun exist. The kind where love is expressed and shown, the kind that relationship become the source of strength, encouragement and peace.
Those kind of relationships don't happen automatically. They just don't automatically appear. They are created and developed.
My question for you now is, are you really happy with the relationships you are involved in now?

There is always room for improvement in any relationship...and, yes, successful relationships are a lot of work...I am very happy with my relationship...but again not to say it couldn't be improved...we have been together for over 33 years and still have a very loving, understanding, fun relationship. We have been through some hard times which in the long run only made our bond tighter...I can't imagine my life without him..it seems fairly effortless, this relationship..we don't require alot from each other..we don't demand things..we seem to flow...and when the flow is interupted, we air our differences and move on...we have children and grandchildren and still have a very intimate and exciting life..It wasn't always a breeze...sometimes it was a hurricane..but nonetheless it is a solid union that began as a solid friendship..all honest ...all open..I think that is the key...to begin as friends...and always remain friends..never see the other as an opposition or anything less or more than an equal...definitely created...definitely developed...definitely long term...
