web cams.... do you have one?

i am a very friendly person, i love winning or gaining friends. so when i meet someone in the chat room i give them my addy so they can PM me. but once they realize that i have no web cam they start to vanish one by one. is web cam that important on gaining friends? do you have a web cam? does it makes you win more friends?

In my opinion some people has a different motive when they ask if you have a webcam. I have an experience in that. There was a time that i went to chatroom, then there's this guy who pm me. He asked me if i have a cam. I have a cam, then he said cam to cam. I will open only if he opens his cam too. Then we started chatting. It's quite good but then later he asked me to stand up. I began to wonder why. Then after that he asked me to show my boobs. And so i finally got it. I stopped my cam and deleted him in my friends list. That's the reason why some ask for a webcam. There maybe a few who are true but some are naughty, that's why i only use my cam for my friends.

Yes I have one and only use it when I am talking with some friends that live out of the country. I enjoy it alot because I can see them and they can see me too. You have to be careful though some people try to get you on the webcam to try and do bad things. Like everything now a days, you have to use caution at all times.

I have one but I don't let people see me on it. A lot of times people only want to see if you are good looking and if you are they want to be your "friend" and if you aren't then you will never hear from them again anyway. I would stick to talking to people, but I wouldn't only try to make friends through the internet.

If someone only wants to talk to you if you have a web cam......I'd lose them in a heartbeat. If they are truly interested in talking to you....as a friend....they would not stop talking to you because they couldn't see what you looked like. There are way to many idiots out there and all you need to do is watch.....Dateline:To Catch a Predator. If you have, those guys are the "friends" you may be making... and losing....creeps. Real friends don't care what you look like...they may be curious...but won't stop talking to you because they can't see you.

i happened to watch dateline:to catch a predetor and they are really catching adult guys chatting with young teen girls. well thanks for the advice and thanks for saying your piece of mind.

I am happy to know such a friendly person, but I can enjoy someone's friendship without seeing them personally. I don't have a web cam because people would run away screaming once they saw me. A web cam is not that important unless you want friends for the wrong reason. What do they need to see that you can't tell them??

that is so sweet, and yes it is true... well if they dont like to be friends with me coz i dont have a webcam well its their lost not mine. and thats a funny one "people would run away screaming once they saw you," lol.
