I love the scarlet pimpernel, a flower that is so rare in the UK that very few people have seen it, and those who have seen it keeps its whereabouts a total secret which is passed down from generation to generation.
It is a very small, scarlet flower which has a streak of yellow, and it grows very close to the ground. This little jewel of a flower is a true beauty and very close to my heart.
What is your favourite wild plant?

Those three would make a lovely combination. Such delicate colours and beauty. WE are so lucky, having all these beautiful flowers.

Yes, we get buttercups over here and they are really georgeous. There is even a hymn, daisies are our silver, buttercups our gold, giving testimony to their beauty.
You have a lovely birth flower, the primrose is so pretty!

Mine is black eyed susans. They look similar to a Daisy but have more orangish petals with a dark brown/black center. They grow wild up in the North of the US, not sure where else but here in Florida they are hard to find. I miss having them. They look really beautiful when they are covering a whole field.
