go to your room and be alone, sit up straight ,close your eyes and start inhaling deeply trhough your nose and exhale very slowly through your mouth. do this as long as you can.when you inhale , inflate you stomach.you need a lot of oxygen.just concentrate on the breathing, do it as poften as you can. do not think of any other things and just completely concentratre on your breathing. if you fall asleep it is ok. just do it as often as you could everytime when you have time. just do it , don't ask to analyze. you will know later ,why.it only takes 21 consecutive days to form that habit , do it.

Om Shanti. Dear archiee, pls do a favour to u, kindly look any Brahmakumaris Meditation centre near u or find it on internet, they can really help u to see the positive side, without any medication, just only attention and meditation. Many of us, like me have got benefited, u can also come out of this, just realise the power within ur self, go thru a self empowerment program of Brahmakumaries.
Om Shanti. Ur Divine Brother-BK Ashu

Life can be overwhelming sometimes. I was diagnosed with chronic depression 8 years ago. I tried 8 different anti-depressants until I found one that worked for me. I even felt so much better that I decided I could go off the medication. Wrong. Sometimes it's just a chemical imbalance in the brain that can only be controlled by medication.
Please see your doctor. Get on some medication AND get into some sort of counselling. It will help you. It will certainly make you feel better than you are feeling now. Talking to someone about things may upset you at first, but in the long run it will do you a world of good. The best thing to do right now is consult your doctor.
Good luck!

What is it that is making you so depressed? Maybe you should write down what is upsetting you so much and try to find ways to overcome it from annoying you so much. Figure out different strategies for dealing with problems instead of letting them overcome you. Are you taking any medications for the depression?
