There are so many 'sciences' involved in predicting the future. Like tarot card reading, horoscopes, palmistry etc etc. Do you think that anything actually works? Is it possible to predict the future? And if you've personally experienced something that works could you let me know

I've studied Tarot and Astrology, and though I frequently read cards and find it fascinating, I don't believe they can reliably predict the future. They only offer possibilities, and tell you what may happen based on past and current events and the energy you're giving out at the moment. I think that a lot of times, people fall into a "self-fulfilling prophecy" when they are told what the future holds. For example, if you go to a psychic and they tell you that you're going to break up with your love, then you may subconsciously pick fights and cause a separation. Then the psychic gets credit for being right (how convienient for him!). I think there are definitely clairvoyant people out there, but I wouldn't put my faith in any old person who claims to know your future.
Just keep this in mind - not one prominant astrologer or tarot reader predicted 9/11 (that publicised it, anyway).

Thanks for the response, i'm trying to locate the one clairvoyant person that is out there ;) Now for some trivia: I believe that Nostradumus did predict 9/11

No problem! I hope you find what you're looking for.
I've read the quatrains that Nostradamus wrote. They're pretty eerie, but still kinda cryptic. I think it's totally interesting, but I remain skeptical. But who knows? Maybe he did see it.

There are many people who are more intuative than others. I dont believe someone can be accurate and detailed with a glimpse of the future. I do believe people can pick up on unseen unheard "waves" (what else to call them??) and are better able to decipher these clues. They may use different methods to voice these messages, but it all boils down to the same thing. Some people have dreams, or visions. These dreams or visions are not always clear, and usually contain images that must be better understood.

As you can tell from some of my other posts or from Silver Sity (my website - link on profile), I'm wicca and a regular user of tarot cards. I don't believe that they so much predict the future as just give you a different way of looking at your situation and the different outcomes that could happen depending on choices you make. The answers are already inside you they just help you to pull them out.
