have you every been victum of poison ivy or poison oak

i got it bad when i was a kid ,i caught it on a train in san francisco grabing leaves off the trees as we were rolling down the tracks.some old man said that was poison oak and being the rebel i was i rubbed the leaves all over my face and said sure it is,well later on i found out he wasnt liein'

That's a funny but I'm sure painful story!
I had poison ivy twice as a kid growing up
in Jersey. We'd spend alot of time in the
woods partying, fooling around, etc. Once
I was with a girlfriend in high school and
got a bad case of it on my back.
The other time was when we were building a
log cabin to party in. I got it mildly on
my chest and badly on my lower legs from
being an idiot and wearing shorts.

yes, it is not easy to fall victim to poison ivy. it is good that they now have good remedies for this. i have only read about how painful it is in a novel. until now, i do not have the slightest idea as to how these poison ivy and poison oak look like.
