Has anyone had bad experiences with ebay?

Let me tell you...ebay and paypal are so faulty, it's ridiculous. They are so glad to take your fees as quickly as possible, then, when someone doesn't want to pay you, they really don't do as much as they actually can to assist you. Also, when you do buy something (especially expensive purchases)that doesn't fit the description or is not in the proper working condition, they are quick to bail on you and you may never get your money back. A few quick examples of why I don't buy or sell anything of importance, expensive, or the latest new device or "have to have" item on ebay: 1. I sold a limited edition XBOX game and 2months after I received the payment, paypal had taken the money back out of my account due to the purchaser's account being a fraudulent account. However, when I contacted both the buyer and paypal, no one solved the problem. Therefore, this lady cheated the ebay system, scammed and lied her way to a free $60.00 game and I am out of the game and the money. 2. There was a time when the sidekick 2 was all the rage and I wanted one so I had to go through purchasing 3 altogether before I actually got exactly what was described . The first 2 weren't anything like what was in the description, so I sent them back to the sellers which takes a pretty long time to get the money finally credited back to my account. Therefore, in the meantime, I waited and waited for almost $400.00 or more to be credited back to my account due to fraudulent sellers who are just looking to make quick money off of seriously honest people looking for certain items to purchase for gifts or for themselves. 3. I needed a book for a college class, bought the book for about $15.00...which was a steal for a textbook. When the book finally came to me....all I received was an empty box....and no one...not even the post office helped me. A box, that had obviously nothing in it when delivered to my house by the post man was all I received to this day. So, yeah...be pretty aware of all the activity that goes into ebay....unfortunately, there's a lot of people who are on there to just make money off of selling you ideas of an item and not what it REALLY is.... If it seems too good to be true...most of the time...IT IS!
