Does anyone here homeschool?

My wife and I homeschool our 5 year old son. He is doing first grade and we use Oak Meadow curriculum. What do you use?

I used to home school my son. Just for a year so he could get caught up in all of school work. He got behind because he was messing around . Once he stayed home for a year he was ready to go back and he did very well after that I did enjoy that little bit of time I shared with hi though.

Sorry I meant to add. that i did use any set curriculum . Just what I found online for his grade.

actually cud u tell me what is the benefit of home schooling over normal schooling.... 1 thng i want to state is that in home schooling children do not get exposure of outside world..... am i ryte? or may be there are changes to my statement????

Actually we do lots of activities with other homeschooling families. One thing is that they are exposed and taught with kids of all ages and grade levels so they are more comfortable with people other then just their own age group.
