Being abused

The marriage can survvive, depending on the situation and how badly the spouse is being abused. Maybe if the abuse is just a minor one and the abuser has undergo a therapy to cure the 'sickness', maybe the marriage can be saved. Getting professional help in throwing the habit and to ensure the situation will not occur again. This can help the marriage not just survive but to make the couple happy again.

In my opinion there is a small chance that a marriage can survive after one spouse abuse, but that is very very unlikely.
