Are your neighbors your friends? What can you say about them? I hope they are not users here so that we can talk about them LOL!

My neighbors are my friends. They are very kind to me especially to my retarded daughter. We can rely upon them for many things. I have even left our house on their care for about 3 months when we went home to the province. I can't say anything negative against them. They understand our situation and we have reciprocal feelings. We practise the both ways I mean - give and take. We are many families under one roof and we help each other. I'm so grateful that I have neighbors who are kind and good people.

I get along with my neighbors on a Hi and Bye relationship only. They are extremely messy and their children are wild. You can barely see there home fo all of the overgrown brush and grass. We have called the city before because it is an ordinance that you cannot let your yard get like that. They also have abandoned cars, lawnmowers etc. in their yard. This depreciates the value of our property and also is an eyesore. I am almost to the point of making a big stink up at City Hall about it. The mother is almost like a hermit. I see her go out in her pajamas once in a while to check the mail and that is it. The children are constantly coming over to my home just to see what I have to snack on. they watch T.V. over here, and even eat dinner occasionally. They never want to call home as noone will answer and they wouldn't care anyway. My daughter syas the kitchen is so full of junk and garbage that they never use it. I am thinking the mother is depressed, and the Father is in denial and works all of the time. I think the boy's eat mostly from the microwave. They miss an awful lot of school also. I think our county is failing these children, as it is obvious to the school, the neighbors, and all who know these children that they need help. A neighbor told me that the oldest child was killed a few years back. I think that is why the Mom never leaes, and has forgotten she is a Mom. I have tried to make contact with her, and she always sy's she'll come over and talk sometime but never does. The children are made to behave in my home and I think they like the stability and discipline somewhat. They run wild all over the neighborhood though.

I have some problems with my neighbors but generally, they are my friends. We are surrounded by many people and of course, there are different idiosyncracies. We are not quarreling with each other and so we are friends.

My neighbors are good enough to go with. I do not disturb them and they do not disturb me also. We just exchange smiles when we chance to see each other. I just pass by when going out so we do not have many encounters.

Our neighbours are great. The family next door are devout Mormons, with a great sense of family. The parents are both medical professionals and they work tremendous hours. The children are all grown up, two of them live at home and the older ones with families are in evidence on week-ends. Andrew - the father is a keen fisherman, and he sometimes would bring across a 3 kilo fish which we barbecue. Gary and Karen, are a childless couple who pretty much keep to themselves. They are well travelled and have a pleasant outlook. Their parents come over to visit and stay with them frequently; these senior citizens are delightful and pleasant. It is not unusual for one of us to send some baking over to the other and we do keep a very cordial neighbourhood. Cheers.
