The number that is along ur name

There is some number in braces along the name. i guess its some kind of rating, is it? ppl having more than 1000 in that braces, how much u earn per month??

The number shows the number of points they have earned in My lot bay answering. For example until nowyou haveanswered 23 questions,

The number next to your name in Parenthesis (not braces, sorry) is the number of posts that you've made on mylot. After you reach 100 posts you will have a star next to your name on your posts that will reflect your user rating, which is determined by plus and minus ratings on your questions and answers which are rated by those interacting with you.

I think that these numbers are the total number of posts made by that user. Yup! Thats it. But I still don't know about the reputation thing.
