NORTON or MCAFEE???

Well I have used both the antivirus softwares over the years.......but I still don't have any clue to which is the better software........the norton and mcafee brands are very big names in the antivirus software buisness.......but how do you tell the difference........

i use Avast Anti-virus now!! its amazing...its an intense scanner...that doesnt let the adwares and viruses even peek 2wards ur computer!! i had norton before...but my laptop started becoming slower n slower day by day! it always showed ' no virus,adware on your computer' every tym i performed a scan!!
but when i loaded the Avast A-V...it detected 3 adwares...and that too in the windowz file ((it had managed to instal itself there!) imagine the damage tht cud hav happened!! nyway....after that i havnt even looked twice at nortan!! and im very proud of avast!!^_^

Well I use Norton. One of the reasons is I had an email account with one company that scanned with Mcafee and I had some virus come through from it. That told me something wasn't right. Then add to it I heard from others who had problems. I have used Norton for a while and haven't had a problem with it.
