damn. i miss the x-files. i miss racing home on monday nights just i could watch the latest episode. i miss getting intrigued by outlandish conspiracy theories. i miss getting spooked by monsters -- of the human variety or otherwise. i miss the wacky paranoia of the lone gunmen. most of all, i miss mulder and scully. i mourn the fact that there will never be another show like the x-files. damn.
what about you guys?

I hear rumours of a movie... I too miss the X files. But thank god for netflix and a dvd burner... I have a large binder with the entire show in it. Sometimes I like to have marathon days and just watch episode after episode. What ever happened to Gillian Anderson? some bad movies I guess... It's not the same, but have you ever watched Bones?

Gillian's been doing theater and movies in England. She grew up there and has extended family there, so she always said she felt most at home in England. I believe she won a BAFTA for the miniseries Bleak House. I know she got nominated for a Golden Globe over here for the same thing. She's doing well, just across the pond.
I have my trusty box sets to watch on, but I find I gravitate to seasons 3, 4 and 5 most. They had the funny episodes. I could watch Jose Chung's From Outer Space daily and never get tired of it.

I miss working on the show. It was filmed in Vancouver and when I lived in Vancouver I worked as an extra on numerous productions. I also miss picking out all the locations & people I knew. I recently picked up an X-Files video tape at Value Village, of an episode (Sleepless) that has a really good shot of me in it... It was the first time Krycek came on the scene as Mulder's new partner after Scully went missing.

Barbaraprz, I am so jealous of you. I lived in LA during season 9, but didn't know how to get extra work back then. If I had, I would have been all over it.
Well, the good news is that sequel buzz is getting dtronger and for real this time (I hope). If it starts production, I will hound my agent or whatever I have to do. I don't care if I'm cashier number four. I want in!!!

I miss the unknown monster factor - that made you curious if something like that could really exist.
I also miss the AMAZING onscreen chemistry of Mulder and Scully.../shrug the greatest love story of all time..
