Why is it that discussions on mylot topics have lots of response ?

it may be that most of the users have mylot as one of their discussion interests.. or it could be that mylot itselfis higlighting itself to do it...

The reason could be that Mylot is a common interest among all the members . And all members want to express their view regarding Mylot related topics .

With such a high number of people on myLot it is obvious that certain topics appeal to quite a lot of them. I have seen some posts with no responses and others that have hundreds of responses. Some topics may not appeal to members but that doesn't mean you should stop posting. The numbers of people joining myLot is on the increase so eventually there should be more responses to topics. You should also request more friends list and that way they can help you out by responding to your topics.

I think it is because the more you write in response to other's entries the more earnings you may get. So people like to submit their ideas on topics they happen to come across. Earning is the most powerful incentive.
