Very angry!

Ok I know this is probably going to get removed by mylot but I don't care!
I made a post yesterday about a site that had been referred to me, surfjunky, I was misled and recieved loads of responses telling me so. Thank you for that people.
Anyway this guy replied and came on loads of posts later saying he couldn't get it to work. I replied by telling him it was a scam and not to bother. He requested me as a friend and I accepted.
Today i went to check my friends new posts and he has posted the exact same ddiscusion as I did. He knew it was a scam so the only reason I can see of him doing this was to get more posts on here as he saw how many people responded to tell me.
So I got a bit angry and posted all over his discussion that he allready knew and put a link to my thread.
Needless to say my rating has now gone from being 90 to 85! But I don't really care. I made an honest mistake, he has knowingly posted something that is a scam and could get peoples computers infected with viruses. And all for a few extra cents.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
Was going to paste his name on here but as he is only has a rating in the 60's and replied twice in the discussion and he's the one who couldnt get it to work am sure you'll figure out who he is!

I can understand why you are angry. I hope you reported him to mylot. Make sure you send a link to your post and to his post. It will make it easier for them to find. That is cheating. I can't believe he had the nerve to copy your discussion. I have had people do that to me but they were never on my friends list. That took some nerve because he had to know you would see it. Don't worry, your rating will come back up. Its a shame that people get mad at you and give you a negative rating.

Oh I can see how aggravated you are, I would be too! I am new to MyLot, and I've also gone through a lot of scams. I've heard of surfjunkie also. I heard its worthless

you should really have reported him to mylot because that's against the rules of mylot, very unethical also. good luck!

I don't blame you at all for being angry I would too. What a jerk to do that for like you said a few cents. It was obvious that he read your post but none of the comments that followed. I hope you have removed him from being a friend. This whole friend thing is new to me I never had any before but I certainly wouldn't want one like that.
You know it's too bad we can't delete posts of our own for cases like yours. It would make life a lot easier.

And you shouldn't care!
It is obvious the ratings system is being used to intimidate people into NOT reacting to these injustices. I was fraid that was going to be the case. Other features, like favroties, or something tallying daily posts, would have been more useful and not a tool to punish people with.

fabwisp i read both posts..i'm not sure what your upset about? looks to me like you reccomended surfjunky and he joined under you then wanted to make his own post to get referals like you did if he did'nt continue reading your responses how would he know it was a scam? and why would he try to get referals for a site that wouldn't pay anyway? maybe you have misunderstood?

well this guy should be ashamed of himself. i to went into that website and it told me that i couldnt set up an acct not please try again later. what kind of website is that. im glad i found out from u that this is a scam. thanks

well people m the guy she is talking about...well its very true i started a discussion that she had already started...discussion was about a site named surfjunky.i joined as he referrals and i asked for her suggestions..but i didnt checked her response and joined the link...now i wanted referrals....so i started a discussion..since.....me and this girl had same reason for starting the discusson so our discussion have somewhat same names....this is the whole thing.
now about the extra cents she is talkin about what i wanted...i dont come here for money..they pay in pennies..so who cares!!
she had called me a scam in my discussion....even then i apologised..i dont know why should i apologise..but still i do
but she did'nt stopped it...
and now she has started this
dont u think she is being very rude to me!!

Well, maybe the two of you can work this out in a private message. The fact that you came to this discussion and posted something tells me that you are paying attention but I think this should teach others why it is very important to read the other replies in a discussion and even check back on discussions you posted on. I know it is time consuming but with something like this, its important.

CEASEFIRE!!! this is a beautiful site, lets keep it that way. please stay away from the ctrl-c and ctrl-v on your keyboards, be creative and avoid all this. MyLot keeps a check on all such discussiona and this may hurt your ratings or even your earnings. i request tarun to avoid such antics, please be fair buddy! this is a cool site. let us enjoy it!

I am surprised that someone would knowingly try to get other people to join in on a scam. As you say, he would only make a few cents.
This is why I am so wary of many of these opportunities. Even though I would prefer to believe that others would not refer me to a website that would give me a virus or was a scam, there are still people who just don't care, because they want to get some money for themselves.

Hon, I saw both discussions. It is kind of sad that someone did that to you. I am sure he wanted to get people and didn't think it was a scam or maybe he didn't care. I just reported his message actually. He seems that he has a change of heart, so maybe his discussion will be deleted. I see that your rating went down, well if it is anything I have given you about five pluses for your comments ;D. I am sure that will help your rating. I know, I am pretty new here, but I can feel your anger. There are always going to be flames on discussion boards, right?

I get very angry . It happens due to disappointment. Anger should be controlled to make the situation smooth. Yoga is a very good medicine to control anger.Anger creates Blood pressure, heart attack,. Getting angry surely spoils the health. Tension is a cause for anger.We have to learn to control or reduce it.

I saw both of your posts the other day. It's a shame what people will do for money. You did what you could to help others, and that's all you CAN do.
