do girls have too many best friends?

i once asked some of my male friends who their best friends are, and i find it funny that they couldn't think of any. i started to wonder if guys find the idea of having a "best friend" corny.
in my case, when i asked myself the same question, i realized that i actually have four best friends. my other girl friends also have more than one best friends.
do girls have too many best friends? or should the answer depend on how one defines "best friend"?

I guess it depends with the guys you asked. some of them just have one but some have more too. But it's just that girls have more! haha I have different answers for different times and basing it on different reasons as well. It's pretty hard to answer that question in just one sentence -- if you ask me who my bestfriend is.. should be are actually haha

i guess you're right. i have, in fact, only asked two of my guy friends. haha. i should consider expanding the number of my respondents. =0)

its not like girls have more friends it depends on person to person..there are many girls who dont evn have single friend and same for the guys...so its depends on the nature of people..
